Mathison Inc. is a full service real estate company, in business as a Colorado corporation since 1984. Don Mathison, a structural engineer, was drawn into the business when clients began asking him to inspect the property they had contracted for with the aid of other Realtors.

Don, who owns many rental investment properties, was also getting calls from potential investors asking for advice. In 1975 Don became a licensed real estate agent.

In addition to operating Windom Mortgage, Dan Koerner is a licensed Realtor with Mathison, Inc. He is a native of Colorado and has a B.S. in Business from the University of Colorado. He and his wife Pam, son Alex and daughter Erin live in Arvada and enjoy all outdoor activities. Ask Dan about fly fishing and you might be invited on the next trip.

In Dan’s 18 years in the mortgage business he has been involved with three to five times the number of real estate transactions that top realtors do. This has given him great experience in the negotiation, timing and the subtleties of real estate contracts. In addition, his experience with underwriting appraisals has given him tremendous valuation experience. He has also been a certified instructor at the Jefferson County Association of Realtors for the last twelve years, teaching Realtor’s how to use their computerized multiple listing service to do searches and market analysis. This has made him an expert in researching the multiple listing service for properties.

Michael Holstine is a native of Colorado and has been in the real estate market since 1991. Michael owns a number of homes in the area and manages several properties in Colorado, as well. He earned his Master’s Degree in Finance and Accounting from Regis University in 1998, and has over 20 years experience in personal and corporate financial analysis. Michael believes in a simple premise, “Quality Service, with a Personal Touch” will always result in the most positive outcome and the customer’s highest satisfaction.

Dan Burgett

Dan Burgett has lived in Colorado since 1982 except for 4 years in Texas serving in the U.S. Air Force. For the past twenty years he has been a truck driver hauling haz-mat. In 2008 he became a Realtor. Dan enjoys helping others realize their Colorado dream, whether buying or selling your home. Dan and his wife have two adult sons and currently live in Northglenn with their teenage son. They love to camp, hike, hunt and spend time with family and friends.

Dan Venz currently lives in Thornton with his wife and two kids. After nearly 20 years in the horse industry as a farrier (horseshoer) and achieving the level of Certified Journeyman Farrier, he decided to turn his attention to real estate, which he has been interested in for a number of years.
